The walk is in 9 days and I'm so excited to be participating. You all made this dream come true for me with your participation in my pledge drive, and I can't thank you enough.

PLEDGE JUST $5 AND YOU QUALIFY TO WIN FREE BEADS!
As most of you know, I've been in a state of transformation for the last 18 months. Recently, I began training and have now signed up to run my very first 5k!
I've chosen to run in the AIDS Walk Wisconsin and now I'm starting to raise money to donate to this very worthwhile cause.
If you'd like to help me reach these goals, I would greatly appreciate it. It's easy, it'll make you feel great helping a worthwhile cause, and at the same time, you'll be entered to win a very exciting prize! Here's how it's going to work.
1. Click the DONATE button below and donate a minimum of $5. Each $5 donation will gain you one entry into the prize drawing.
(ie : donate $5 get one entry, donate $20 get 4 entries...etc.)

2. Donations will be accepted for this drawing until October 1st, at which time I will announce the winner (probably on October 2nd, 2009).
3. You may donate as often as you wish from now through October 1st, be it $5 increments or more. Each time you donate your pledge will be tallied and your entries will be marked appropriately.
4. Prize package will be shipped no later than October 31, 2009.
5. Donations are collected securely via Paypal, and the entire sum collected will be donated to AIDS research at the walk on October 11, 2009. For legal reasons, I have to say that this is NOT a raffle, but instead I am soliciting your donations for the charity event I will be participating in. ONE LUCKY WINNER
will be chosen randomly from all pledgers on or about October 1st, 2009. The winner will receive a full day's worth of beads made by me in my midwest studio!
If you are chosen as the winner, you may request a set you have previously seen me create (and I promise to do my best to recreate them as closely as I can...)...you can make a special request for color palettes or sizes or shapes or whatever you like. I can't promise I'll be able to fill all requests, but I do promise that you'll have a great assortment of beads to work from once you receive your prize package!
A typical day of work for me will net a couple sets of accent beads, perhaps a full set (or two!) and probably even some focal beads...you just never know where the glass and my imagination might take me.
