this organic style focal was created with a blend of sage green, ivory and plum glass with just a hint of silvered ivory and intense black for contrast.

 

gravity blended then handshaped into an elegant tapered tube. etched to a matte finish.

an elegant blend of coral and chai colored glass come together in this slim, pencil style focal.

 

the two colors meet asymmetrically with a simple band of 22k gold leaf as an accent. the leaf was then outlined with a lustrous raised band of glass to add texture and shine.

this abstract focal was created with black metallic glass, then handshaped in the flame to create it's unique form. great silver shine infused with light oilslick hues.

a special lot of glass called "streaky sapphire" was used to create this focal.

 

a super vibrant shade of blue that carries darker streaks throughout. handshaped into an elegant tapered "olive", then accented with 22k gold leaf and lustrous trails of silver infused glass.

this focal turned out so cool, that i was tempted to keep it stored away for a while, just so i could take it out for a peek now and then.

 

the middle band of color shifting, lustrous glass has so much depth and shine in person, that the camera doesn't do it justice.

 

created with a base of creamy "sediment" glass, then layered with "psyche" glass from double helix to produce all of the color range you see. one simple outline at the base of the bead completes the piece and adds just the right amount of color and texture.

a simple, fun tab focal to experiment with some copper i had laying around here.

 

created with a base of classic black, then accented with copper mesh and a copper sheet metal dragonfly. fully encased to cause the copper to turn red during the annealing process and create a super smooth surface.

i wanted to revisit this glass in it's pure form, and i've really been loving the look of these handfaceted nuggets as well...so i brought the two back together for this set.
